Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Flip Flop, Ben Turney, & Dan Levi go to war again

I have no skin in this game, though I wouldn’t wish to own shares in Flip Flop’s Kavango Resources (KAV). However, as the two men go to war, it is time to grab some beer and popcorn and enjoy from the sidelines. Then, I look at Asimilar’s (ASLR) cash crisis, and Red Rock Resources (RRR) where, despite Andrew Bell pulling his usual trick, I hang on. Finally, I take a detailed look at Ince Group (INCE), where I am now 90% vindicated, with the shares crashing to c. 5p. I await an apology from its PR man, who suggested that, at 52p just before Christmas, I was wrong to be such a bear. To watch my next hat eating, go HERE.

GM called to oust Clem Chambers at ADVFN and bring in really top-notch directors

Grab your beer and popcorn. Yair Tauman, who owns 20.42% of ADVFN (AFN) has made his move, calling a GM to oust boss Clem Chambers and to bring in his son plus two incredibly high powered Brits as new directors. ADVFN says it is considering the legality of the request but given who the two new guys are, that is just playing for time. It is, I am afraid to say, laughable.

The CEO, a NED and the CFO has gone. Lekoil Nigeria – 40% owned by Lekoil PLC (LEK) – accuses the AIM-listed PLC of lying about the reasons for delaying results. The company is downing in debt. What more could go wrong? Oh yes: the pesky Nigerians have half-inched the corporate website.

This is all to do with my own panic shopping but what it told me about how others are behaving. If folks think that most consumers continue to act as if nothing is wrong, think again. Then I look at Future (FUTR) which i don’t believe as it issues a trading statement, round two of beer and popcorn at Iofina (IOF) as the great Brexit bad boy Arron Banks makes his move, French Connection (FCCN) and ValiRx (VAL) botb of which look pretty fecked.

The share price collapse is only starting. Today's disaster for Neil "Nomates" Woodford is HaloSource (HALO) which I discuss before posing a question for my old pal Jim Mellon about SalvaRx (SALV).  I comment on London Capital (LCG) and promise more on that debacle tomorrow while also noting that it is countdown to results day at Inspirit (INSP). Beer & Popcorn time: battle of the poltroons - Slater & Gordon serves Watchstone over Quindell con

Oh boy this is going to be fun. It is one of those battles where you want both sides to lose badly. Like Germany vs Argentina at football or a ratings war between Jonathan Ross and Simon Cowell. But Slater & Gordon (SGH) has now formally served Watchstone (WTG) with High Court proceedings claiming breach of warranty and/or fraudulent misrepresentation for a total amount of up to £637 million plus interest. Watchstone says it will defend this robustly. Boy this will be fun.

Diary Date: Join Tom Winnifrith & Brokerman Dan putting Mkango Resources to the sword

It was almost four years ago to the day that Jimmyliar Ellerton of the fraud Sefton (SER) arranged to do a ramptastic presentation in London to try to lie to enough people to get another bailout placing away. Sadly for him both Brokerman Dan and I attended and we absolutely wiped the floor with the old rogue. It was the start of his downfall. To celebrate that Dan Levi and I have both booked in to a Mkanago Resources (MKA) presentation ...let battle commence. Fancy coming along? We gather beer and popcorn will be provided by the venue.
